All your base are belong to us
This may be a late reaction on what Facebook has caused. There were a lot of questions and an amount of uproar from users since they changed their terms of service (TOS). Here’s a more well versed post on what happened in facebook.
There might be some people who wouldn’t care about the agreement but I, for one, am concern about it. I feel like I’m already doomed even if I delete my contents (photos, illustrations, and artwork) now, since they removed some important lines of that terms of service (TOS):
You may remove your User Content from the Site at any time. If you choose to remove your User Content, the license granted above will automatically expire, however you acknowledge that the Company may retain archived copies of your User Content.
Even if they reverted the TOS back, what Mark Zuckerberg said on his blog post that they are not going use the users’ content as profit and using the word “trust” is now hard to reciprocate, in my own opinion anyway.
