My Christmas
Christmas eve, the time where we anticipate the birth of Jesus Christ. It is also the time where everyone is busy on preparing a good feast with the family and also the time when my boyfriend and I celebrate our anniversary. December 24 (two years and running)
This will be the first time that I’ll be spending Christmas eve away from my family even though I promised that I will be with them tonight. My aunt had me promise to help her daughter, my cousin, to make sushi for tomorrow’s Christmas party with my family. I just couldn’t say no to her. I love my aunt and her family as much as I love my own.

So, I’m here right now with them as my cousin and I just finished making sushi. 40 pieces of rolls and when I say rolls that means 1 big sheet of Nori per roll, which is almost as the size of a short bond paper.
It’s eight in the evening and I wish to be with my family. It’ll take almost two hours to get to my parents’ place knowing that it’s really traffic out there. My mom would probably start to worry if I leave the house too late in the evening. I already asked my aunt to tell my parents that I’ll be staying here with them and I know my mom will understand.
